Many of you have probably read published works written by multiple authors. Well known names such as Arthur C. Clark, Anne McCaffrey (my personal favorite and notably with Margaret Weis), and others have either dabbled in or succeeded at collaborative writing. Such writing is not limited to fiction, either. The BBC series, Red Dwarf, was written by Grant Naylor, a pseudonym for Rob Grant and Doug Naylor (source). The most common form of published joint writing, however, is in academic circles. From psychology to education, mathematics to physics, academic papers and books are almost constantly being submitted for publication and distributed for learning and peer information sharing.
With this information, have you ever taken part in a joint writing with one or more other people? What did you do?
